Mike took the took to answer some more questions from fans:
From Priscilla, 19 in California:
Where can I find your shoe and what is it called? I want to get your shoes to wear this season when I play ball! Thanks.
I think you can get a catalog from Team Jordan or maybe get on their website.

From Michele:
I just want to say welcome to Sacramento. We are all really excited to have you here. You're a great player. My question is what do you think of the fans? Had any outrageous encounters with any? You know we are the loudest and craziest here.
The fans are great, it reminds of my time at U of A. It's fun playing here, the fans give me extra energy sometimes.

From TJ:
What do you think about the new rookie Gerald Wallace? How will he fit in with the talented team Sac has? Good Luck this season.
He's a great athlete and he's exciting to have on a fast break

From Anna Thompson:
Hey Mike--I just wanted to shoot you out some props for the job you've been doing so far since you hit Sac. You have skills. And also wanted to just say thanks for being a cool enough guy to give your fans autographs. My friend and I met you after the Kings Fandomonium and you were cool. You know there are some players that won't do that but you just acted like it was no big deal. So just wanted to say thanks and keep putting them numbers up for us. Go Kings.
Thanks Anna.

From Shane Nelson:
I am from Ganado, Arizona, and I have watched you play in the High School Finals at the America West Arena, and you are a very talented point guard. I am a huge Arizona Wildcat fan. I have a question to ask you, do you and Michael Dickerson, and Jason Terry still talk to each other? Is it weird to see them playing with a different team? Well, I hope that you have a great season with the Kings, and Good Luck!
I talk to Mike D. a lot and I see JT when we play his team. It's always fun playing their teams cause I get to spend some time with them and talk about all kinds of stuff. Thanks for your support Shane.

From Rubia Werra, Phoenix:
How can I get self-confidence? When I play with people my age I can play the way I know how, but when I go up to the gym and I play with guys a lot older than me I can't play the way I know how. I'm not necessarily intimidated, but I get really up tight and I'm not relaxed. I mean when I am relaxed playing with the older guys (which happens like once a year) I can play fine. I will shoot when I'm open, but I can't get myself to penetrate and break down the defense. Is it just because I'm so young and it will hopefully come in time? That's what my dad always tells me, but I don't know what's going on. I just need to know how to get myself to relax because when I am playing with the guys a lot older than me. Thanks for reading this.
Your dad is smart. It will come in time. The only thing you need to do is play your game and play as hard as you can every time you play no matter what age group you play with and in time you won't even realize that you're playing against older guys. Make sure you are having fun when you play the game.

From Erin Davis:
As a professional sports player, who is heavily in the spotlight and admired by many, what do you feel your role is in the September 11th tragedy, how do you feel professional athletes could help Americans in their time of greatest need?
I think my role is to teach my children the value of freedom and to recognize the real heroes in our communities (firefighters, police officers etc.)

From Natalie Saelee:
Hi. I'm a big fan of the Kings and as well as of Jason Williams. I was sad to see him leave and thought the Kings had made a big mistake. Now seeing you play, I think (and other Jason Williams' fans) you were a better fit for this team. My question to you is.... how do you compare yourself with Jason Williams? And how are you adapting to this new environment, the city, your team, teammates?? I also want to add Good Luck with this season and the Kings are going all the Way! 2002 Championship! Go Kings!
I really enjoy playing for the Kings organization. I always try and do the best I can and never compare myself to anyone. All I can do, is be me. I am adapting well, everyone has been very kind and helpful. I hope we get that Championship also.

From Kevin, 15, New Jersey:
Mike, do you know of any drills I can work on to improve shooting? Also, how do you go about conditioning and nutrition during the off-season and during the season, Thanks.
Do a lot of shooting at game speed, with hands in your face, with people coming at you, off the dribble and create situations where there's competition. During the off season I have a trainer that keeps me in shape and during the season I have Coach Adleman who does it.

From Jeff, 12, in Vancouver:
Sup Mike... How is Sacramento? I live in Vancouver....we miss you but well things happen...well I know your brother Dane and Tony and Ramond and Freddie...tell them the little kid from Vancouver said hi...However I have one question and that is how do you train in the off season...Raymond your cousin told me you took 2000 shots a day is that true....and when did you decide you were going to play basketball...good luck Mike peace.
I shoot about 500-750 shots a day. I decided I would play basketball when I was in elementary school. Raymond says Hi.

From Chantelle in Vancouver:
Was it hard to adjust from the style of play that Vancouver had or did you find the switch fairly easy? Have an excellent season with Sacramento Kings and I can't wait until Dec. 19th when you are in Seattle. I already got my tickets! Thanx.
It was an easy adjustment, because Sac likes to run and I've played that style in High School and College. Did you have fun at the game? See ya next time we play Seattle.

From Kathy, 15 in Vancouver
Hey Mike! I'm a huge fan and I was wondering what you think about your assist avg. I don't know how you will do this year but I hope you have a great year!
That's the best part of the game for me. It's a lot of fun passing to my teammates.

From Steve Gautheir:

I know you got many tattoos, which by the way, I like your new one, the "Only God Can Judge Me" one. It really made me think about stuff, its an awesome motto. Do you have any other tattoos that are "hidden"? hehe well thanks for your time, and good luck with your new team! Love you always.
Thanks. Check out the website for all my tattoos

From Sujan Gurung:
Hope you are doing great there in Sac town. But, I want to ask you one question. How do you do the killer crossover move?
Practice, Practice and Pray.

From Brian Bonfig 15, Ionia, IA:
For a project at our school, I'm researching how to mentally and physically prepare for basketball. I was wondering what are some of the drills, daily rituals, etc. that you do to prepare for a long season. Thank you for your time and GO KINGS!
I just try and take it one game at a time.
- Mike
From "Dimez1st":
Do you ever kick it San Francisco now that you're in CA? Well, best of luck to you with your new team....
Once in a while I'll go with my brothers. Thanks
- Mike
From Dror Ben Avi, in Israel:
Hey mike I know you work hard on your game but in what do you think you should improve on? & I once heard that you worked out with Jason Kidd one summer and actually you are very a like in your game. Do you see him as a role model and when you play against do you feel you should prove yourself?
There's room for improvement in all areas of my game. I spend a lot of time shooting. I think my defense is pretty weak. I like playing and working with J. Kidd over the summer. It helps me become a better player when I practice against top competition.

From Gracie in Vancouver:
Hi Mike! My name is Grace. I enjoy watching basketball a lot, especially you. I live in Vancouver and I was sad to see the Grizzlies go, but I was glad to see you get traded to a winning team. I liked Sacramento before but I like them even more now that you play for them. i think this year, Sacramento has a really good chance of beating the Lakers. I hope Chris Webber gets better soon. I really love the fact that you are a great passer and you're not selfish with the ball. What advice would you give me to become a better passer and offensive player? Thanks for your time.
Always make the good pass and forget about the great pass. The good passes have a better chance of being completed.
