Mike is one of a few select athletes to be named to Nike's Team Jordan. Team Jordan consists of athletes from various athletes hand picked by Michael Jordan himself. Michael Jordan has been a fan of Mike's for a long time, and selected him to be a part of Team Jordan when he was a rookie with the Vancouver Grizzlies.

Mike gets special player edition version of shoes. These shoes are made only in his size and feature colors to match his uniform that are not produced.
